I don't think this is all bad, but maybe keep Konecny and play him in Marners spot, send the Wild a first and offload Zaitsev instead?

Most Leaf fans on hear seem to think he is worth 10mil or less per season, so an offer sheet at that price would be two 1st a 2nd and a 3rd (if you're willing to sign him for 5 years or less), Konecny is probably worth the missing 2nd and 3rd.
