I like the idea! Just not sure if its enough though. IF it is, we should do it yesterday.

If Nash is game I'd make that deal. I fear they won't be crazy about Mahura which is too bad because I think he has a lot of potential. Not crazy about Grant filling in for Rico. I think we'd be better off shifting Shore to the middle and maybe giving Comtois a shot in his place on the left side. Hate to see Rico go but it might be the only way could fit someone like Subban in the lineup. I'm on board.

Nashville has 0 need for Rico. They are already overpaying for Bonino and Turris. Can't see any desire for Rico.

I'm a huge fan of Rico honestly. I still think he could the next captain and is critical to our team. But he is still the one that makes sense, especially if nashville doesnt manage to sign Duchene. I think Mahura is a piece they can try out and move later if needed. I think they would be more interested in Larsson, but I don't see the ducks giving up their best D prospect for a 30 y/o. And I agree, the line up would change and possibly see one of the kids or shore promote to 2nd C over time.

I feel like it gives them a chance to move one of them. Rico has a good scoring touch and is a decent playmaker. He's far from Turris' slump and an upgrade over bones any day. I think both are still tradable for picks or a roster player. Move turris for a bottom pairing D and a fourth round pick.

Have to disagree. I think thats the cart before the horse. Its also rumored that they want Duchene big time. They'd have to move guy to make that work. Also why add Rico when youbhave Turris. Theyre pretty similar. Thats lateral at best.

Acquiring Henrique makes Turris more expendable. I think Henriques brings more to the table in general and could do well in the Preds system. Solid veteran, great leadership, and good on both ends of the ice. And really if the Preds do manage to bring in Duchene, Bones or Turris needs to go. Bonino is getting paid too much to be on the 4th line. I think being able to move turris for picks and prospects makes plenty of sense. But I do see this deal happening ONLY if the Preds can't sign Duchene. Though in reality I don't see PK going to a small hockey market.
