Description

Could be a quiet summer. Might be best for Leafs make minor adjustments. I really like Zacha's size and skill. Seems like a guy who could use a change. Kadri is best suited as aa 2nd line center. Would look good behind Niko. Fedun to a team friendly contract, if not resign Hainsey to a couple hundred more on a one year contract assuming he doesn't retire. Problem solved! Thought?

That is a good question. He'll be out until early to mid November and a lot can happen before then. Injuries, trades, basically it's a gamble, this roster would buy them time to bring Hyman back. Knee surgery is no joke. But I believe it's a better bet than trading guys like Zaitsev and Nylander at below market value to solve cap problems. Unless they get something of equal value for a roster player with a decent cap hit, it would be short sighted to make knee jerk deals. This way, Dubas can take his time to make a good deal.
