If we move Gourde instead of Miller this summer we are good actually, as next summer we can move both Killorn and Miller (for a total of 9.65M + 1.83M of Carle's buyout) coming off the books we'd have 10+M to work with (+ what will be left of this year's cap + the cap increase).

Another thing we don't agree on, my Boltlover1 friend smile

This generation best Dman, 28 y/o. The injury doesn't worry me, he only needs the time to heal and we'd have him for the rest of his career.
And remember: you wanted change for the playoffs? A player like Karlsson would be able to drag our ass all the way to the ultimate prize. He was almost able to do it with Ottawa, while dealing with a BROKEN FOOT.
PLayers like Erik Karlsson don't come around ofter; if you get your chance to get him you absolutely go for it.

Depends. If he's signed to a 3 years deal, it'll be under. 5 or 8 years, then yes.

Nope. Check out EvolvingWild contract projections (https://twitter.com/EvolvingWild/status/1129934574199476226?s=19). Point on a 3 years deal is estimated to be 7.2M
