Wait. You're saying Spurgeon is worth MORE than two young, 40-point potential forwards, a former first round, young d-man, AND a first round pick? Jared Spurgeon? This deal is too much from the Ducks' standpoint, Zucker and all, nevermind if you reduce it down to just Spurgeon. He's a really good d-man, don't get me wrong, but this is a treasure trove for a player that isn't THAT special, especially if Minny is seriously looking to move him. If he's that valuable then they need to re-sign him and make him a Wild for life.
