Point and Karlsson both sign for more than that (add 4-5 Mil) and you already over the cap and need 1 more player

Dumb .. no Karlsson in Tampa .. damaged goods regular season player .. and stop with Callhan for 1st round for 1 year cap relief .. stupid ..
And Miller WAY more valuable.. amazing how people here dont get trade values right .. Tampa needs gritty balls players for Cup .. that's it.

Lol at everyone thinking this is some random bum who knows nothing about what he's talking about. This is the Lightning's beat writer for The Athletic who put this together. I agree that the Point and Karlsson contracts both seem low but that's in line with what Tampa has been able to do before. Paying a 1st to unload Callahan is steep, but if that's the price to bring EK65 in, I wouldn't bat an eye at it.

Also, to the guy who said he needs one more on the roster: most teams actually only run with 21 or 22 guys on the roster in the regular season, so even though the max is 23, it isn't necessary to stay at 23 all year round.
