I don't get the thought process behind putting draisaitl on mcdavids wing. Mcdavid doesn't need a superstar on his line. Spread the stars out. Put pirri and duclair on mcdavids line and he'll make them better. Like crosby and the average line mates he's had. Then you can put RNH and Draisaitl on a line. Still not a great team but better than putting both your superstars on 1 line

thought process here is that Draisaitl and McDavid virtually guarantees 2 goals per night. If you can get 1 goal from the rest of the team every night, they're probably winning games. I don't understand why people force McDavid-Draisaitl to be Crosby-Malkin.

Not everyone excels that way. Kane - Toews used to play together when they had depth. That's what the Oilers need. They need a winger to play with Nuge, and couple bottom 6 forwards for depth.

Kane didn't used play with toews. Last season was the first time they spent most of a season on a line together. During the cup years it was always toews on the first line and kane on the second.

The way I see it is mcdavid is so good and is gonna put up points no matter who is on his line. Yea they could definitely use another top 6 winger or 3 but nobody wants to go to Edmonton. Not yet atleast. Maybe if Holland can get rid of some bad contracts and make the team respectable again that might change. But for now they're gonna have to make a team out of spare parts that other teams don't want

I dont understand your NYI Trade. There is nothing being sent to entice them to trade Leddy. The only reason they would trade Leddy is to upgrade a top 6 forward. They can do this because they have D depth that could step in and up. So Bear wouldnt be something they would be looking at either.
