It would be nice for JVR and Bozak to be on this team, but that isn't enough. If Lucic was traded for Martin Jones, 1st round pick and Colin Miller; JVR's value is a strong roster player, first round pick, and prospect. I would suggest Kuznetsov and 1st round pick.

This is correct. JVR has 2 years left and is going to get paid. He's also a Power Forward coming off injuries. Samsonov + Bowey alone should net them that package.

Looks like an overpayment by the Caps. Bowey and Samsonov sure would look good as Leafs, now and especially 3 years from now. Gotta think the Caps keep Bowey as Karlsson and Alzner approach UFA.
