Wont get that from Colorado. Maybe switch the 2nd to a 3rd or 4th with Carolina. Maybe Dallas says yes, im not sure

Yikes, you arent getting 2 top prospects for a trade you are forced to do as a cap dump

Yeah, don’t think you’re getting Fleury + Picks for Haula. Early 2019 2nd + an AHL prospect probably best offer from Canes.

Would something like Smith for Kamenev or Greer and a Colorado 1st (either 2019 or 2020) happen?

I find it a little comical that the title of your proposal is centered around cap space yet after the proposed transactions, you've left the Knights with only $317K in remaining cap space.....

If McPhee / McCrimmon anticipate paying Karlsson and Gusev those salaries, he'll have to shed another contract like Eakins or Reaves to give him more cushion under the cap.

Quite sure Colorado trade is not realistic too, but Timmins didn't play this year and I'm quite sure Vegas will be hard to convince to trade Smith for him and a pick, idk.
The Dallas deal is hard but not impossible, Honka needs a change of scenary and Gurianov never lived up to a top six potential.
I'm quite sure Carolina's deal is fine, maybe with a 3rd replacing the 2nd

Not giving up a 1st for a cap dump. Thats too pricey. Kamanev and a 2nd sure, but Vegas needs to move some guys more than Avs need to add them so they arent getting full value for any trade they make

Karlsson is making 5.25 mils on a one year deal and the cap is going up, is definitely gonna get 7+, for Gusev I made a comparison with Radulov and Shipachyov, he's a former KHL MVP, don't think is gonna accept 3.5

Evolving Wild has Karlsson projected at 5yrs x 6.45m

This is their methodology

Most experts have Gusev projected at 3.5m x2 although it isn't as clear cut
