Murray has battled injuries throughout his career and Milano is struggling to find himself in the NHL so unless Trouba tells Winnipeg that he won't resign then I think they pass on this deal without another incentive.

Savard isn't a perfect solution for the leafs but I suppose he could be a temporary stopgap

Trouba in that sense would work but the Jackets would need to really improve on the LW. Dzingel will not get paid that in Columbus. Savard is worth a lot more than that.

Trouba wouldn’t be happy in Columbus for one of the same reasons he isn’t happy in Winnipeg. Trouba wants to be a top pair d man and he wouldn’t play on the top pair in Columbus with Jones there.

Savard is a much better player than Brown. You are getting hosed on that deal.
