Smith is an obvious buy-out this year or next. No reason to subsidize moving him with Georgiev who will return equal or better (hopefully better) than Cam Talbot.
We (NYR) are at least another two years removed from even considering cap-dump trades anyway.

Buyout next year. If he bounces back first half of 2019/2020 season, maybe we can unload him at trade deadline with some retained. No way he gets traded straight-up for anything right now at his current cap hit this summer
