Cant see the Pens taking this. Yes, you take JJ of the Pens' hands, but the only significant return is Faksa. Honka and Val do not have any value, so essentially its Kessel for Faksa just to get rid of JJ, which is an awful deal for Pittsburgh.

I actually like this better than the Zucker/Rask rumor.

Nichushkin is a waste of space (but maybe Malkin will like it?), Honka is dime a dozen, Faska allows movement of Bjugstad either positionally, or in a trade. The big thing would be cap space. This trade brings in a solid 3C and address the cap space situation. No actual "need" to do any other trades.

Could add a pick or a prospect but I saw this on some Pittsburgh news website that since Minnesota deal got axed, this was another good option.

I could definitely see the interest in Faksa, but I just think a bit is missing. I saw someone propose Faksa, Robertson and 1st for just Kessel. With what the Pens were going to get from the Wild, I dont know if picks/prospects is what they want though, even if value is there.
