you may want to look at the other side of this trade, EDM doesn't have the cap space to trade and ELC for a 6 mil+ contract.

Instead of commenting on this trade I would say that trading Nylander right now would mean trading him at his lowest value.
Got to let him have a full year with the Leafs before trading him.
Would I like to trade him? Sure...just not at 50 cents on the dollar value.
