Description

Calgary have the cap space to make this move and they also have a lot of young defenseman. They struggled in front of the net and Smith isn't getting younger. Habs can afford to try Rittich while Primeau and McNiven gains experience in the minors. Rittich and Lindgren would each get around 41/41 games (experience, might not be good but why not ?). We get a first round pick (Lavoie) and also draft Broberg (if still there, might be York or any LD).

I signed Lekhonen but if we have a good compensation, i would let him go.

We could also trade Shaw to whoever want him.
