I like the idea of bringing McIlhinney back.
But a huge overpay for Korpisalo. About $3M high.
Murray, due to injuries, about $3.8-$4M range.

I hate to say it but, I'd be absolutely shocked if Panarin resigned. ESPECIALLY after Bobrovsky not resigning. This team is arguably much worse than the previous one that just squeaked into the playoffs.

IMO its either Bob, Pan and Duch all resign or none of them do.

I actually think there is a decent chance Panarin signs back. Remember, he can only get 8 years from the Jackets. Going to NYR or Florida has the draw back of the teams not being very competitive. This might hurt them because Panarin wants to win. The can offer the most money and it would be hard for Panarin to leave significant money on the table.

I think those are fair points.

But as for this ACGM. I can't take any CBJ ACGM seriously that doesn't include the youth. Tex and Foudy are chopping at the bit and CBJ can't wait to put them both in the lineup.
Dubinski will never be a 2C in CBJ.

You can tell right away the people that have no clue at all because there's no Tex, Foudy, Gavrikov or Elvis. These people only look at the NHL roster and make decisions based on salaries and games played last year.

All info we knew back in january. So why wait and why make it practically known he isnt resigning earlier? Either way im not saying he wouldnt sign here, just that i think if he sees Bob and Duchene leave for free agency, so would he as like you said he wants to win and Columbus isnt winning when 3 of their best players leave. 1 being the mulitple Vezina winning Bob....

Well to be honest a lot of people in the media have went the road of him not signing back. I truly believe he is doing his due diligence. He will not have another chance like this again. He going to use his free agency window to see what's out there and he will make his decision. I think Duchene will be back regardless. Duchene is going to go for the money in Columbus plus his family is really starting to like it there. He to will do his due diligence but I predict he will be back.
