It's not that I want him it's that if we trade Kadri, we need a 3C desperately. Zaitsev trade could very likely need contract back, Sutter can give both of those. Are there better 3cs cheaper yes, but could we acquire them cheaply? That's the question. It's a trade proposal where if Kadri is traded, how to make Zaitsev happy and get back what we would need in as minimal trades.

Could very well be, and maybe it would be less, we don't know how other teams value Kadri. Johnsson would garner a 2nd rounder via if he signs elsewhere, so not much for him. We know that Carolina values Pesce largely as they wanted Nylander minimum for him, probably more.
