Ladd is likely going to sign his last contract. He will get double that in FA. Only chance I see him stay with the Hawks is if he signs a cheap one year deal, to win a cup, then cash in next summer.

You're not getting Two second round picks for Shaw when teams can just offersheet him up to 3.6 million and only have to give up one second round pick.

      Everything about this is bad.

      Everything.

(Hossa will not be traded. Nor will Seabrook.)

Yes, these trades are bad. But let get to Ladd. He may thought in January that he was 6.5m but I can't think of any team is going to offer him near that much....Who has the cap space for 30 year old left winger who has started to decline.
