I would love to get Byron back but in a perfect world he's a 4th liner and i do NOT wanna give up McCabe for a 4th liner.. no way. Also Kessel will cost much more if he were to waive his no trade.

Looks more like a stacked top 6 - the 3rd line isn't that much better than what we saw last season IMO. Byron has turned into a good 2-way player but for a team looking for offensive balance, adding him doesn't look like the best option IMO.

Trading away Rodrigues, who's the ultimate in flexibility (1st to 4th line, any forward position, either specialty team), also doesn't seem smart.
