I just don’t see the point in trading Ehlers, especially for that package. Any Ehlers trade would have to shore up a need like 2C or RHD, which Balcers nor the picks helps us in that regard. In this scenario, Ehlers should be traded for a defenseman because I really don’t want Zaitzev and his contract. Trade Perreault in another deal and scrap the Zaitzev part. Connor shouldn’t get more than 7.5.
