Kesler LTIR, Eaves LTIR.. voala and you can sign your guys get young guys in and do whatever you want. AND its under terms of CBA.

My post was in general to all making transactions and not abide to cba 23 contracts and cap top.

Not necessarily. Putting players on LTIR doesn’t just magically take their cap hit off the books.

It will move some cap hit off the books, the necessary part to be under cap I think.

No it moves 0 cap off the books lol. It gives you temporary relief, it doesn’t actually move it off the books

Oh yeah **** lol. It doesnt get cap hit off the books forever of course. What am I thinking.. but they can put those two guys on LTIR under rules of CBA and leave the there if necessary for the whole year if necessary.

Not necessarily. It will allow them relief to go over the cap, however leaving them on LTIR all year means they can’t go over the cap even with them on LTIR otherwise they will get hit with a cap penalty for going over the years end salary cap ceiling. For each player on LTIR for the whole season could be up to a 5 million penalty each, which would go against the cap the following year. With Kesler also coming off LTIR the following year, that would destroy the ducks. They should buy Eaves out instead to start
