Edmonton says no very fast and Ottawa doesnt do the Vegas deal (why get rid of 2nd rounders for rentals)?

So if all 3 players cost some random player and two 2nd and two 6th round picks. Why would the other teams give up so much?

That's brutal, 2019 8th overall AND next year's 2nd rd just to get rid of 2 garbage players + Gags?
They're all gone next year anyway. Hell no.

Yeah you can more or less cut out the middleman. Although not sure has enough capspace to do the deal regardless.

No, just one. Gagner was on a 35-point pace last year, meaning he'll cover the $3.15M contract. Benning is a value deal when you consider how often he's had to play up the lineup and how successful he's been doing it.
