Anaheim fan here: I'd decline.

Honestly, the value changing hands is probably close, but MacDonald probably costs a 1st or 2nd to get rid of, and Hagg+2nd don't offer enough upside to give away Comtois in my opinion.

I'd be interested in a MacDonald deal though. Thoughts on MacDonald + 2020 2nd (Should be late 2nd) for Eaves + 4th (Eaves goes to LTIR)?

I doubt they move Comtois if they're buying out Perry.

They're either buying him out or finding a taker for his huge salary.

Eaves only has one year left but we definitely need to start getting lean with salary. Who on the Gulls would you be interested in packaging for a trade? Phantoms just lost corban knight, a solid veteran presence in the AHL could be good to stabilize them

Another Ducks fan here. Honestly this is a lot of assets for one young player but a player I happen to be really high on. I second Lenny7 that a MacDonald deal could be interesting but I like the look of Hagg too. I don't know, I'd have to really chew on this one if I were Bob Murray.

There's not much, TBH. Pretty much everyone in the AHL over 25 is FA after this season. Going to be a weird offseason in Duckland. Lots of roster spots to fill.

Yeah, I think there's something that could be done for sure, but it'd have to be someone outside of those top 3-4 prospects (Terry, Comtois, Steel).

What about something involving Ritchie?

To be honest, this wasn't a trade that had to be made if we can finagle these signings I've made. I know I'm probably overpaying but after watching the Gulls post-season run, I've also been high on Comtois. Terry has been awesome too, watched a few Ducks games late season this year. You guys have some really exciting prospects right now, I'm stoked to see how they develop.

All that being said, if we can get another Dman, we would probably want to trade MacDonald and Hagg if there's interest. Like I said Amac is a great veteran presence and from what I've read you guys have some promising d prospects. Could actually be a productive exchange for both sides.
