It would need to be a sign and trade, since Trouba I dont think is too keen on playing in Canada.

That and the fact that he's got a bit of a diva vibe, the type of player that wouldnt give 100% unless he WANTS to as opposed to NEEDS to.

Trading for Trouba isn't hard, WPG has to trade him. Its convincing him to sign long term that's the hard part. He is more picky on where he wants to play rather than for how much.

That garbage doesn't get you Trouba, Trouba doesn't want to play in Canada. And fat chance of Trouba taking any thing less then 8 x 8

After more thought.... I wouldn't do this deal from an Oilers perspective. Trouba is not the right player to pay that kind of money. Especially 8*8
American Defenceman are to soft.

Detroit can have him.
