Simmonds is a waste of cap. Had no impact in Nashville while he was there.

The Nylander trade works for Ellis, not Subban. Bonino won't get better than a 3rd - likely a 4th and 7th or something. They also won't resign Simmonds, especially for more then $4m. And if Turris is 4c, they'd rather keep Bonino for that and trade Turris.

Like the trades, Simmonds is as good as gone. They’ll bring Boyle back instead of him
