Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Kylington is NHL ready, he's just stuck behind Calgary's depth on LHD. He'd be a great addition for MTL's backend. Frolik is a great vet who can still put up the points.

For CAL, they get a young winger who can replace Frolik's production, he's also cheaper and CAL own his rights. With Valimaki coming up, there's no room for Kylington. CAL also need to shed salary for Tkachuk's new deal.

Definitely think he does. He's a smart 2 way Dman.

can't see Montreal doing this as is. Kylington for Lehkonen straight up might be interesting for both, but no way Montreal basically gives up a 2nd round pick for Frolik.. he's a cap dump for Calgary. Lower that pick if you want Montreal taking Frolik

Well thought. You thought about each team's needs. I hear good things about Kylington and he would surely fit well in Montreal. Frolik would also fill a hole on a weak right wing. Good trade

Not a terrible trade but is really a trade that doesnt make Calgary much better. Need more depth starting in the top 6!

Idk. Seems fair. Maybe switch the 2nd to a 3rd or something.

Kylington and Frolik for Lehkonen and a 4th at best.

Kylington = Lehkonen (slight edge to Kylington)
Frolik = 4th round pick

Frolik put up 34 points in 65 games last year. He was also a +/- plus 24. He's worth more than a 4th, don't you think?

he was also a healthy scratch multiple times for poor play. Plus Calgary needs to clear cap space and he's one of the weights taking up space.. won't get much for him

Frolik is not a cap dump and he only has one year left on his deal so even if his salary was high (it would only 0.5M high if you thought that) it'll go back down next contract
