Backes and Edmonton both say no to that.

Giving Carlo 4 years just gets him to UFA as quick as possible. Not good.

MoJo gets a better deal elsewhere, let him, nice fit but injuries will make the contract rough to have.

it legit just passed right over my head, we'd have to sweeten the pot a little more thinking about it now, or bring lucic back to boston but thats just gonna be 2 extra years

Edmonton is not giving up on him they will sign a 1 years 1 millions and goes from there after! Backes could be ship too ottawa for cap space with prospect and pick

He still has an NTC for all but 8 teams of his choice. You think he waives for Ottawa? Nope. Not unless they are retaining and flipping.
