Description
Yeah I know I buried Backes on the LTIR. I'm hoping this is what happens in the offseason after he gets his pay day at the beginning of the year. It could be he gets trades to a floor team after his signing bonus is paid. Either way we need his cap number off the books one way or the other. So this is wishful thinking.

I can never see Backes wanting to go a "floor team". Likely the only trade he would accept to is a contender....who don't have cap. Teams have taken on LTIR cap which costs them little or no money, but to take on a multi year cap dump that actually cost real money....that's almost a unique situation.

They are not signing Gardiner. I’d rather not sign MoJo, injuries will make that contract rough to have. Heinen will get around 3m, Carlo 4.5. I like the trades. Pretty solid overall.

When they tell him they’re sending him to providence, he’ll accept a trade anywhere.
