It will take more than that to get Kapanen. Lyon doesn't carry much value.

You're not getting Kapanen for that. His value is at least a 2nd round pick. You can take your chances and offer sheet him and hope the Leafs can't match or maybe offer the Leafs a 2nd plus something else to skip the OS process all together.

I figured a 2019 3rd would be more interesting than a 2020 second but I wasn't too sure. I made it a second and 3rd + Lyon.

Even with the change of picks to a 2nd and 3rd it is only marginally better than offersheet compensation.

Miller's price may be lower, but with at least 10 teams wanting him, his price is not going to be a 2nd. It's going up with every person that makes a phone call.

I don't see the Leafs moving Kapanen unless they're getting a defenceman back in return. Why would they want picks? Toronto has lots of AHL goalies and goaltending prospects.

TBH, Vegas and Toronto would probably both be happier if they traded with each other and left you out of it.

I see a lot of people on this website really undervaluing Miller. I know VGK is in cap hell, but I don't think they'll give him away for pennies on the dollar.

Not many of the prospects interest me all that much. Frost and Farabee are an obvious untouchable. Ratcliffe/Rubstov are the only guys I could see Toronto targeting realistically.
