I think u may just be in a bit of a sticky wicket with Meier.... if the best you can do is $4,400,000 that dude will be signing an offer sheet.

Leblanc will also get an offer sheet at that price..... my suggestion to you is to look to deal Karlsson & Lebanc.

Thornton 1.5????? What?

That's the most realistic part of this entire thing. Jumbo has stated in the past that he'd be willing to take a massive pay cut if it meant signing a blockbuster player.

They don’t have a lot of excess money. I don’t see them spending 3 million for a backup goalie. Keep Dell at 1.9 and give the extra 1.1 to Meier since he is most likely gonna be more than 4.4. 5.5 seems more likely

No way they spend 3 mil on a goalie, Dell is gone and they will bring up a goalie from the minors on an entry level contract. Thornton will probably take around 1.5 mil but Cap needs to be at 6.5 mil and Timo at 5 mil. I think Lebanc stays on a 3 mil bridge contract. I think the Melker is gone as well, 2 mil for him is excessive.

You try to work the cap but still need to add 2 players to the roster... and you have only 80K$ left..

Which means: more work to do!
