the 3 goalies on the roster would be rotated for the first 10-20 games to see which two are the best, odd man out can be traded or sent down.

Wow you did not hold back. I feel like they're better off trading the majority of those contracts instead of buying them out. If Kappo is as good as he seems to be, in 3 years someone's gonna need to give him 8 figures.
