Like the Buffalo trade. Actually realistic.

Doubt Edm gives up a top 40 pick for Namestnikov. Even with the retention.

At 2mil, with the success he has had with star players, his versatility to be put at any position or any role, and Edmonton's need for playoff contention right now, I don't think its too far off.

Personally I don't think Shatty has done as poorly as everyone makes out, especially since he was on a bottom 10 of the league team. I think he still has some value, just have to find the right fit.

Personally I don't think Shatty has done as poorly as everyone makes out, especially since he was on a bottom 10 of the league team. I think he still has some value, just have to find the right fit.

If Braun got a 2nd and a 3rd, and WPG was willing to take Pionk, then Shattenkirk with retention has positive value.
