I think there is better value to be had for all 3 projected trades, however for these purposes the return really didn't matter. They were essentially worst case scenario deals.

I am crazy here, but throw in Strome and Buffalo may give you the Blues first for Shattenkirk, Vesey, Strome, Namestnikov, 2019 5th and 2019 6th.
Shattenkirk > Nelson
Vesey > Sobotka
Namestnikov > Pominville
Strome could be #2 center if Mittelstadt should not pan out.
