Why would Detroit want to trade Mantha for Krug? How does that help their rebuild. You continue to trade Krug and you continue to be a pud.

As a Wings fan depending on how much Mantha wants on his next contract, And if he's willing to extend long term. I'd might consider it. Krug just turned 28 his last birthday so not sure how this really effects our rebuild obviously Trouba would've been the picture perfect candidate. But now that's not happening after being dealt to the Rangers. Krug will want a big pay day on his next contract. So depending on the asking price and his salary command. Not sure if he fits or not.

Why do people keep having McAvoy signing for so little? Why would he sign for 7 and not 8 years? and why would he sign a long term deal when he can get more money next year?
