I don't think anyone's going to come after Johnsson with an offer sheet. Even if another team does, it won't be at 4+. His production isn't at that level as of right now. Sign a bridge, put up 2 more 20 goal seasons, and then sign something like that.

Why offer a deal you would match in an offersheet anyways? Not that the deal is off-base given Evolving Wild projections.

I'd be looking for a more high calibre add. Kadri is clearly better than Wennberg and is a much better goal scorer. Someone might be able to persuade me that Kapanen for Nutivaara is a fair swap if you focus on his transition numbers rather than production, but other than that I lean towards a younger Kapanen who still has upside to explore.

Honestly I dont' think the right piece is there that would fit the gap for me personally. At least not based on who I think is untouchable on Columbus.
