Hayes plays center though and he's got Connor for less term then Hayes.

scored 30 goals twice in 3 season and he is 22. Meaning he hasn't reached his ceiling. Hayes is 27-28... it's downward from here

Sure but that has nothing to do with contract values between a UFA 2C and a RFA LW with no arbitration rights.

And Philly got screwed...Hayes didnt want to sign there for when he could get paid the same elsewhere of what he was worth(around 6.5M) so Philly bumped the salary up...

and with the comparisons to the other wingers coming off of ELC's it will be around 7M for Connor

It's the market... Matthews got 11M for the same production... the difference is that he is a center.
