Duchene wont sign for anything less than 6 years. Hes in his late 20s, and he has a young family to think about. Hes gone on record saying that his priorities on his next deal are 1) Going to a team with a good chance at consistently winning 2) A place where he can settle down with his family, and a place where they will be happy since those will be the formative years of his sons life

duchene isnt signing for 3 years. Minimum he signs for is 7 years at like 9 million
