Dom't know if took one for the team. He would have been miserable in LeafLand next season. His play has dropped off so much. He has made 75m in NHL salary...so taking a 2m or 3m haircut by taking a buyout....insignificant money wise. He might recoup a 1m if the Sharks want to sign him, but why should they?

Hes packed with "above average" wings, not many teams that are in need for 2#C, so it needs to be mediocre C that will bring you 1st in the package to build D with it

He earned 100M thru career, i dont think he was even looking at his payment part of the contract for this year and care about if he will get 1M or 3M or 400k....so i think brackets arent needed.....
