    Value for Yak is fair. Don't think Buf takes it unless they are having issues resigning Girgs.

    I'd consider Spurgeon + 15 for Girgs (not Yak) + 4

    not going to Protect Draisaitl or Mcdavid or Nurse as there 2nd year pro would be done for the expantion draft? I guess any way you do it you will lost a solid player in the draft.

    I've said this several times before, but Suter wants to play with a right handed dman only. He went ballistic when Spurgeon was moved away... He'll go ape **** if Spurgeon gets traded. Brodin is the guy whos on the market, not Spurgeon!

    Thought only players with 3 years pro experience had to be protected?!?

    No way Buffalo trades Girgensons for Yak. They went thru the 1 dimensional russian with Grigorenko, theyre not going back to it.

    your semi right sportsnet has it at first year pro at 2015-2016 are protected. So Nurse McDavid safe. Draisaitl needs to be protected as he played 40 some games in 2014-2015. I originally thought it was just after your 2nd year pro.
