Even if the leafs didn't match Marner there's no chance Pavelski signs with Colorado. I also don't think AJ Greer nor Logan O'Conner will make the Avs roster thus leaving them in the AHL. Also no way Kerfoot and Compher sign for that little...

Honestly Colorado is one of the only team I could see offersheeting Marner as they actually have they money, and they can afford to give up the draft picks as they have one if the best prospect pools in the league. Although for Toronto not to match it would have to be closer to 12.

How about the Avs salary cap next year. Probably be in a bonus carryover next yea, Avs would have less cap to spend, now they would have to shed cap.
Doubt if Marner would sign that contract anyway. Appears like he going to sign for less short term. Leafs would easily match anyway...
