Description

Flyers got their back up and still have 4 RFAs to sign. With an open spot on the 3rd line it seems to be a rookie that is going to be filling it. With reports from Dev Camp saying Frost is around 186 lbs it seems like he may be the option they go with if he has a good training camp.

I really think Myers should play with Provorov, tell Myers to let it loose giving this line some offensive upside

After the Gudas move Fletcher said that Myers slotted in at 3rd pair RD. This could change but I doubt it. If anything I think they put Ghost on 2nd pair to let him loose and have Sanheim and Myers reunited since they were partners in the AHL.

The pairs get worked out in camp. Some players look good on paper together but it doesn't work when they play on the ice.

I can see Fletcher signing another 4th liner and a 13th forward. This would allow Frost to play in the AHL if he's not really ready for the NHL in camp. Worst case Laughton plays 3rd line wing and they still have an effective NHL caliber 4th line.

I agree. This really depends on IF Frost is ready and honestly i wouldn't mind if they had laughton play 3rd line wing move Pitlick to center which he has played before and have Twarynski or NAK play on the 4th line. Twarynski has a really good shot and stuck around for a long time last training camp so he might have a chance.
