That lineup is way too too heavy and still haven't addressed the issue of secondary scoring or defence which was the problem last season.. still not a playoff team

I believe that Compher along with Vatrano and Borgstrom could fix that issue. Otherwise, they would need more scoring from the D other than Yandle

That roster definitely makes the playoffs, I like Lou and Reims but goaltending is what cost them last year!

Florida Panthers last year
Goals For 9th in NHL
Goals Against 28th in NHL
Shots Against 10th in NHL

Again I love Lou and Reims but they had goaltending problems last year!

With that defence, they don't even get in a stretch fight for a playoff spot

Again that defense was 10th in shots against last year. Avg save percentage in NHL hoovers around .910, Florida was at .891 last year, if they get league average goaltending @ .910 save % that takes 46 goals against off the board, you don't think that jumps them atleast 12 points??? (They finished with 86 points last year and 12 points out of the final playoff spot).

You can't pin it all on goalies. San Jose and Calgary had terrible goaltending last year.. look where they were. Playoffs.

Furthermore Bob was at .913 LY, .921 the year before and .931 the year before that. If they get Bob to tie a carrer high at .931 in 16-17 that would shace 99 goals against than your talking cup contenders.

SJS and CGY were #1 and #2 for shots against last year. They could cover up poor goal tending with outstanding D.
