Leafs currently would not have a second (or first rounder) after this trade. I doubt management will accept since we would have no 1st or 2nd rounders in 2020. Tweak the trade just a bit. But it seems like that's around the ballpark of moving Zaits.

I’m hopeful for the departure of Zaitsev & that Vancouver is still interested.

My concern now ties to the Luongo retirement & the dominoes that fall because of it.

Does Vancouver still push for Zaitsev now with the added 2.2mil to the cap penalty? Or does this change things?
