Everyone seems to be undervaluing Miller. Expect a player and a 2nd to be going back to Vegas. Leafs have already shown their hand, they need RHD. No team will part with a quality top line RHD line Miller without demanding a hefty ransom.

Miller was a healthy scratch last year, Vegas is in cap trouble.
Why overpay for 3rd pair D man?

His value is 4th rounder or 3rd at best, period.

Vancouver will only make that trade if they lose the Myers bidding war and I think it will be a 5th

Like Trickster said, he was a healthy scratch and i think Vegas has shown more of their hand as they're literally negative in cap space right now. They also just traded Haula for a pretty low tier prospect for that very reason.

I think a 2nd and 4th is more than fair, considering you can't really send any more cap space Vegas' way. He's not getting a first.

Because he wont be a third pair D for the leafs, he'll be their top RHD... Vegas has plenty of avenues to shed cap that don't involve virtually giving away a solid D for useless picks 3rd round or later.
