Larsson and a 3rd for Bracco, Brown and Zaitsev is a good deal. Edmonton needs quality forwards up front, they have about 4 of them currently and Brown and Bracco would jump past almost all of their depth guys. Bracco would help on your PP and Brown would help everywhere. Zaitsev isn't that far behind Larsson, its a smart move by Edmonton .

Im not a big Larsson or Miller fan but i could live with those deals ps Severson is a better fit for the Leafs he's also 1 year younger and has 2 more years on his contract for the same $ as Larsson

Edmonton would not take on Zaitsev for more money than Larsson, no matter what you package

I feel for you Oiler fans, you have the best player in the game and pretty much no one around him to help. You have 3 forwards worth their weight and a bunch of marginal players on the other lines. Edmonton needs more than anything else DEPTH. If you could move Larsson for a slightly lesser version of himself with cost certainty and also get 2 forwards who would be decent NHLers, you should jump at that. Thats the sort of moves that can help keep McDavid interested in staying in Edmonton. You need to increase depth, move out bad contracts (Lucic may indeed be unmoveable) and draft smartly.

Holding onto guys that really aren't part of the solution is what will keep you on the outside looking in.
