Nathan McKinnon isn't going anywhere, per Joe Sakic.
Malkin wants to play with Panarin, that's where the rumors about a trade come. But these are only rumors.
It'll never work sorry.

This is only my personal opinion, but Malkin is a top 10 world player. Not 2 or 3. I put Crosby, Toews and Kopitar as centers before him.

haha why in the world would the Avalanche do that. Malkin is awesome but he is 30 years old and entering the back half of career.
Duchene and MacKinnon are the Avs 1-2 punch...MacK is only 20 years old, they aren't trading them away for an older C

I have to agree with the others. Malkin is a great player now, but huge cap hit...already 30. I'd also put stammer, Tavares, Benn and Kane ahead of him for top forwards in the league right now. Top 15-20 in the league. His top 3 status was in 2012 which was four years ago and getting further away everyday.

Not trying to incite anything, but quite honestly with Malkin's play, age, and injury history it would be a Malkin MacKinnon straight up trade. Nothin more...nothing less.
