Ceci's cap hit hasn't been confirmed but it looks to be around 4 million.

Dermott will take Holl's spot.

Hyman will take either Gauthier's or Spezza's spot.

Now with the Aho contract finalized. The bar has been set and Marner won't be getting more than 10.5 million. That may even be a slight overpayment.

The Hutchinson trade was to acquire a backup goalie that's definitely good enough for Babcock to trust to take some workload away from Andersen.

Trades probably not gonna happen. I just want it to because I really think Andersen's load needs to be lessened.

Then you need to write a letter to Babcock... has nothing to do with sparks. Even when we had Mcelheny it was the same crap.

SpRks gets nothing but the second game of back to backs when the team in front of him looks like trash. A few more regular starts and maybe a few starts on the first of back to back games would be good for sparks too... or any backup for that matter.

Ceci won’t be less than 4.5

Aho OS has nothing to do with Marner. Any team looking to OS Marner does not care what Aho got. Does not affect what they will do one bit,

Well Sparks obviously wasn't good enough last year and Hutchinson did well in his short stint but his previous seasons show he won't be able to play as well as needed.

Could you please point me in the direction of goalies with nice stats on nothing but 2nd games of back to back starts? All I’m saying is that I would rather lose sparks on waivers and know he isn’t going to work than trade him for a 5th and watch him tear it up for another team.

He has some holes in his game and they have been addressed. He has done a lot of work in the offseason and I think he will be hungry for the spot.

Campbell will be available for the next 8 months... patience is a virtue.

I like the idea of the campbell deal.. I could see it being done some time after hyman/derm come back.. Since petan will be a healthy scratch.

Will have to see when the season starts how good the back up situation is.

Few things to keep in mind... Kerfoot didn't play center most of last year.. so it would be in the teams best interest to have him as the main center but have someone who is a right handed shot that can take strong side right handed faceoffs (similar to how matthews/nylander did). They could use nylander in this situation.. or they could use nick shore.

Also Hyman (torn acl)/Derm (shoulder surgery) are out till dec/jan... so better to have them on ltir since it is a long time of the season. Ltir is when u are out for 10 or more games...
