This is the RD solution I proposed on twitter the morning of June 30th. Close to what happened, I expected Brown to part of the package but he got shipped to Ottawa in the Ceci trade.
I was expecting to see a sign and trade with Barrie, not retained $ (I think they had to adjust for the Ceci QO cap hit .)

Rosen was an unexpected loss and will be missed. Key now is whether Dubas can entice Barrie to extend and I think he has a Karlsson-like situation he can use to help make that happen.

You'll see I targeted Kerfoot (I am the author of SKATR so I have some player eval tools in my hip pocket.)

Kerfoot with speedy wingers should show good twoway and defense skills needed in a young 3C but can also pop some points.
