Clarkson doesn't need to be buried and can be placed on LTIR.

Are we sure that Girard-Makar is ready to be a top pairing? I think splitting them on the 2nd and 3rd pairings might be a better idea.

holy heck that is terrible...take on the Clarkson contract to get Gusev but give up top prospects in Bowers and Melcohe?
Are you confused on who Gusev is?

Meloche isnt a top prospect, hes decent but slow down, still I agree on the general point

He hasn’t slowed down at all, he has even getter every season since drafted especially moving to pro hockey. He’s still a top prospect, not a flashy one playing true to his game. He’s nhl ready

He’s been 2 years in pro hockey. You’re not an avs fan nor do you have in depth knowledge of their farm system to rate prospects, your opinion on avs top prospects doesn’t carry weight

Not confused. He's the guy who's absolutely ripping up the KHL. He's worth the risk, and Clarkson is one year. Has a good chance of becoming a Panarin type.

You know who else Vegas signed who was ripping up the KHL...Shipachyov, and he went back to russia bc he didnt make the team out of camp. All for the gamble of taking a chance on a guy like that but he isnt 2 top prospects worth a gamble, plus taking on Clarkson contract.

Thats just foolish and reckless
