Kerfoot is a 3C....he isn't a top line RW. Nylander also isn't a 3C...

We just traded Kadri because his talents are wasted as a 3C.
Why the **** would we put Willy there in his place (when everyone is healthy)?

I don’t think he is either but knowing his play, I would like to see what he could do there. Maybe do it for the first 5 games or so and see how he does.

I'll pass on that. 5 games isn't enough of a sample size. Moore will be a 3rd/4th liner where he should be and is most effective.

I don't disagree with putting Nylander at centre. But the Leafs would have to go in all the way,,,,,He's their centre. And he should be told NOW to get his mind at centre. Practising face offs NOW. Maybe watching film NOW. But with Kerfoot and Spezza maybe it's put off another year or until Matthews is injured.

Kerfoot is a LW/C and you think it’s best to put him in the first line RW? Lol

Personally I think he has better hands than Hyman along with bring faster. For this reason I'd try him on a trial basis while Hyman is out of the lineup.

His work ethic is superb and he gives 100% every shift. Wiling to throw a check and go into the corners and dig the puck out.
Is he a 2nd line player based on skill? No.
Should he play there to fish the picks out for Marner and JT to do their thing? Yes.

If he goes to Centre then its 2nd line....but there is no point in him at C because Tavares is there and Matthews.....Nylander is on wing.

I think folks really get caught it in this silly number game. Nylander would play as many minutes as Tavares and Matthews as he would likely play RW on PP. I prefer him on the wing myself now that Spezza and Kerfoot are here and Marner is still not a Leaf and Brown is gone.
