Terrible lines, you only have that if the team is losing in a crucial playoff game. Also, the Leafs will not be able to keep both Marner and Nylander. One of them has got to go, and most fans have expressed their desire to keep Nylander over Marner.

I think he was doing this to show that they are spending that much on 3 forwards, and their power play will likely be over 50% of their cap. Why do the leafs need to get rid of Nylander or Marner? every non- leafs fan says this, but doesn't provide logical reasoning as to why.

Actually I'm starting to like those lines, place all the North Americans together and have only 1 Euro line.

wow only 5 of 24 players are not North American. And Nylander and Kapanen were born in North America with NHL dads.

If the Blues Cup success was because of their majority Canadian team, well than this looks good. Don Cherry would be proud.

Too bad the Marlie call ups are gonna be mostly Euro/Russians.

Why do the leafs need to get rid of Nylander or Marner? Because otherwise there would be nothing for non leaf fans to chirp about. This Marner business will likely pass too..

What's with the ridiculous Euro/Russian narrative? It's not 1984

I doubt you even remember the '90's let alone the '80's, with what you've been smoking.

Oh, I remember both decades well. And they are both in the past and well past their best before dates.

Marner and Nylander’s fathers hate each other, plus both are competing to be the top winger on the team. There is no happy ending to the story.
